COPYHOLDERMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Copyholder follows print as the Proofreader reads Braille, and lists any errors found on the error sheet. Other duties may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Must have good command of the English language, grammar, and spelling. Must have good listening skills and be able to follow written text as read aloud. High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred. Must be willing to learn basic Braille skills. Must take a grammar and spelling test. Basic computer skills a plus. Sitting for long periods of time required.
COMPENSATION
New Hire Rate: $16.46 After 45 days worked: $17.46
7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday
7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday (with every other Friday off)
